Job Title: Lab Technician
Company: Superior Optical Inc.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team at Superior Optical Inc. Our company is an independent eyeglasses manufacturing facility and federal contractor serving eye care professionals across the United States with quality eyeglasses and sunglasses.
About the Role:
- Inspect lenses for cosmetic defects and ensure proper machine maintenance.
- Handle chemicals safely and maintain a clean and productive lab environment.
- Ensure the quality of work performed meets industry standards.
- Maintain knowledge of quality and safety requirements for each operation.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, sort, wash, and prep lenses for AR coating.
- Perform machine maintenance, including sandblasting inside parts of the machine.
Requirements:
- On-the-job training provided.
- Monday through Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (with occasional Saturday shifts).
- Experienced in DVI software systems preferred but not required.
- Strong visual acuity and ability to read, write, and understand English.
