Now Hiring: Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker
An established mechanical contractor is seeking an Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker for new multi-residential and commercial construction projects. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills, and build a long-term career in the sheet metal trade.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Journeyman Sheet Metal Workers with fabricating, assembling, and installing ductwork and HVAC systems
- Learn to read blueprints and follow job specifications
- Handle basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and fitting sheet metal components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and industry standards
Requirements:
- Some sheet metal experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to take direction and work as part of a team
- Reliable transportation
- Basic hand tools
