IT Systems Administrator

Superior Plus Propane is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to join our team. Safety Focused: We care about you and have developed a 24/7 safety mindset that is showcased throughout every facet of the organization.   What you’ll do: •            Drive resolution of IT Support Incidents and participate in IT Problem and Change management. •            Work with other support teams including infrastructure, network, helpdesk and application support to resolve issues •            Respond to and support the resolution of cybersecurity events •            Recommend solutions to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction •            Streamline operations by building appropriate automations •            Build run-books for new and existing solutions •            Software asset management and deployment •            Hardware asset management and deployment •            Administer Entra ID, Active Directory, Office 365 (including OneDrive and SharePoint, SCCM, BitLocker (MBAM), Antimalware, LAPS) including identity                    and access management. •            Administer VMWare environment •            Administer MDM solutions such as Soti, Maas360 and Intune •            Maintain corporate endpoints (remote and in office) compliant with security best practices, optimal configuration and software updates (patching) •            Ensure alignment and conformance to ITGC (Information Technology General Controls) and other policies •            Manage endpoint software deployment process •            Project management of physical site commission and decommissioning •            Some after business hours and weekend work is required in this role •            Participation in on-call rotation expected •            Conducting quarterly MS license reviews to keep licensing up to date. •            Providing IT on site customer support to corporate offices •            Regularly monitoring system performance and generating reports on system health and usage. •            Regular preventive and corrective maintenance of systems to ensure optimal performance •            Other duties as assigned. What you bring: Relevant degree or diploma in Information systems or information technology. Ability to prioritize a wide range of workloads with critical deadlines. Availability outside of working hours to resolve emergency issues promptly. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Patient and professional demeanor, with a can-do attitude.
