What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pricing Analyst position at Superior Plus Propane Talent Acquisition?
Reporting directly to the Director of Pricing, the Pricing Analyst will partner with different departments within the business to provide input and guidance on margin and pricing related issues and to provide analytic information on decision-making issues affecting the line(s) of business. Conducts and documents financial analysis projects, data gathering, manipulation, summarization, and analysis of financial reports, sales activity, trends, and opportunities.

What you’ll do:
Create, review and communicate Gross Profit, and Margin performance, and analyses. Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company.
Perform competitor analysis on similar products and services. Create reports reflecting metrics and project status, objectives and barriers
Support special pricing program development, analysis, and reporting.
Work with the sales, operations, and marketing team to define pricing structure for company products
Identify ideal pricing structures, recommend and initiate changes with field personnel
Report on revenue by products, maximizing profitability
Support the hedging process from reporting on sales, and allocation at month end
Special Projects, as necessary
Other duties as assigned
What you bring:
Bachelor’s degree in economics, Finance, Accounting or Business Management.
Three years’ experience in corporate finance or accounting roles.
Working experience with finance and reporting software.
Working experience with MS Office. Proven analytical experience a plus.
