Service Supervisor (Downeast Energy)

As the Service Supervisor, you will provide direct supervision of service technicians and drivers to ensure the highest quality of professional and technical service to our customers.  The Service Supervisor coaches, motivates, and trains the service team and office staff. Safety Focused: We care about you and have developed a 24/7 safety mindset that is showcased throughout every facet of the organization.   What you’ll do: •            Assist customers daily, including responding to inquiries and concerns, and selling and providing customer training on HVAC equipment. •            Provide supervision of service technicians through coaching, developing, and instructing in daily activities. •            Perform equipment installation and repair, oversee yard setup and tank replacement, ensuring safe and efficient equipment operation. •            Provide accurate accounting for service inventory for vans and warehouse, ensuring appropriate quantities to meet service requirements while remaining within budget; review all customer invoicing before data entry. •            Administer training and certification programs to both new and seasoned service technicians. •            Attend to all required documentation, including certifications, State and Federal forms, and maintenance reports. •            Role will need to oversee Jurisdictional Compliance, continual training for existing techs and be active in creating a sphere of influence within the market to aid in future tech recruiting efforts. •            Perform other job duties as assigned.   What you bring: •            High school diploma; Associate degree preferred. •            Oil Master license required. •            2-3 years of Service experience •            CDL Class B or C with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements •            Prior management/supervisory experience preferred. •            Ability to work an on-call schedule as needed.   Here at Superior Plus Propane, we are an equal opportunity employer committed to the inclusion and accommodation of all individuals, we welcome all qualified candidates to apply.
