We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quarry Repair Person to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our quarries.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on quarry equipment, including crushers, conveyors, screens, and other machinery.
- Conduct inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards, mechanical issues, and general wear and tear.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and breakdowns, implementing timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Manager to schedule and plan maintenance activities to optimize operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment condition reports.
- Participate in safety meetings, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and protocols.
- Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive preventative maintenance program.
- Operate heavy machinery as necessary for maintenance tasks, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to environmental and safety standards.
Requirements:
- Valid CA Driver’s License
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in equipment maintenance or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, preferably in a quarry or similar industrial setting.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to quarry operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks in a demanding outdoor environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime.
- 2-5 years of quarry maintenance experience is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
