Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- We do a lot! No one day is ever the same at Superior Restoration Services - we offer water, sewer, fire, soot, and mold remediation services as well as estate and hoard cleaning.
- Working with the project manager/estimator, respond promptly to calls and assess the extent of damage on-site.
- Safely perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification procedures using industry-standard equipment and techniques.
- Monitor and document moisture levels and progress throughout the restoration process.
- Remove and dispose of damaged materials, including flooring, drywall, and personal belongings affected by water damage.
- Apply antimicrobial treatments to prevent mold growth and ensure a hygienic environment.
- Install and maintain specialized equipment, such as air movers, dehumidifiers, and moisture meters.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with customers, and other stakeholders throughout the restoration process.
- Adhere to industry regulations, safety guidelines, and company policies at all times.
- Complete necessary paperwork, including job documentation, work orders, and inventory records.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and equipment to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or coursework in water damage restoration, mold remediation, or related fields is not required but a plus. We will pay for outside educational opportunities.
- Experience in water damage restoration, including knowledge of water extraction, drying techniques, and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with IICRC (Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) standards and best practices.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to assess and address various water damage scenarios.
- Ability to work in high-stress situations and respond effectively to emergency calls, including occasional after-hours and weekend work.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with clients.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
