Emergency Room Hospital Security Officer (Level One Unarmed)
Job Site Location: Lovington New Mexico
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients.
Hospital Security Officers play a vital role in maintaining a safe healthcare environment. Security Officers are often the first to greet visitors who walk into a healthcare facility. While customer service is part of the job description, so is handling confrontations with an empathy-led mindset.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- A well-kept clean/pressed uniform and professional demeanor a must
- Responding efficiently and effectively to emergency situations etc.
- Maintaining self-control in stressful situations,
- Managing verbally or physically aggressive situations without injury to patients and staff, using verbal intervention/de-escalation skills, remaining calm, exercising judgment, and avoiding unnecessary physical force
- Assisting clinical staff in the application of clinical restraints, including physical holds when necessary.
- Greeting and directing visitors and maintaining order in the Emergency Room area
Schedule
4 on 3 off, 3 on 4 off- Repeat
