We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Spray Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for lawn care and landscape maintenance, with experience in weed control, fertilization, insect identification, disease identification, core aeration, overseeding, sales, and route management. As a Spray Technician, you will be responsible for applying various treatments to lawns and landscapes to ensure their health and vitality. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while driving to various job sites.
Duties
- Apply pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers according to safety guidelines and regulations.
- Operate and maintain machinery and power tools necessary for spraying applications.
- Conduct thorough inspections of lawns and landscapes to identify pest issues or areas needing treatment.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding services provided and recommend additional treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, including products used and areas treated.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Previous experience in lawn care, pest control, or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with farm machinery, hand tools, and power tools is essential.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong sales skills are a plus for promoting additional services to clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
