What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Finisher- Per Diem position at Superior Skilled Trades?
Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Concrete Finishers for new construction in Stennis, MS.
- PAY: $28 per hour
- HOURS: 40 Hours per week (Possible weekends)
- SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday , 7am-4:30pm
- DURATION: 3 months
- START DATE: ASAP
PER DIEM FOR THOSE WHO QUALIFY!
Job Responsibilities:
- Set forms for holding concrete and ensure proper depth and alignment.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete smoothly and efficiently.
- Monitor the effects of the weather on the curing process.
- Apply seals and finishes to protect and enhance concrete surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in concrete finishing
- Knowledge of different finishing methods and the ability to choose the appropriate tools and materials for each job.
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret construction plans.
- Must be able to safely use hand/power tools and PPE
- Must be able to perform job duties that require standing, crouching, twisting upper body, working at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Must have PPE including steel toe work boots, hard hat, face mask, gloves, high visibility vest, and protective eyeglasses.
- Must have standard hand tools.
Additional requirements:
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test
