Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks and a strong work ethic. This role is essential for supporting our construction projects, ensuring that work is completed efficiently and safely. The Laborer will work closely with skilled tradespeople and assist in a variety of tasks on the job site.
Duties
- Assist with construction site preparations, including clearing debris and setting up equipment.
- Support roofing projects by handling materials and assisting with installation.
- Perform masonry tasks such as mixing mortar, laying bricks, and assisting in structural work.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Help with door hanging, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Participate in welding tasks under the supervision of experienced welders.
- Utilize Bluebeam software for project documentation and collaboration as needed.
- Assist in glass installation for windows and other structures.
- Engage in flooring installation, including measuring, cutting, and fitting materials.
- Perform trim carpentry tasks to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects.
Physical Requirements
· Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodations in a manufacturing environment
· Ability to stand for extended periods
· Capable of lifting and manipulating parts and tools as required by the job
· Collaboration with team members in a fast-paced production environment
· May require flexible hours to meet production demands
· May involve exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors common in manufacturing facilities
