We are seeking an HVAC Technician with expertise in facility preventive and corrective maintenance work. This is a direct hire opportunity with our client, a leading commercial facility maintenance provider located in Albany, GA

Pay: $28- $33 per hour (Based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 (paid after the first 90 days)

Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment per work orders.
- Complete documentation of work performed in compliance with CMMS.
- Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Maintain safe operation of systems including environmental controls, boilers, and auxiliary equipment.
- Diagnose problems using proper inspection/testing techniques.
- Familiarize quickly with facility layouts and operating procedures.
- Perform work according to safety procedures, company policies, OSHA, and client standards.
- Inspect work for compliance with local building and safety codes.
- Escort subcontractors as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of HVAC-related equipment and skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or general building maintenance.
- Strong commercial or institutional experience is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings.
- Three or more years’ experience in building maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license and insurance.
- Willing to work occasional on-call shifts.
- EPA & HVAC certification required.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
