LONG TERM PROJECT - WEEKLY PAY
- PAY: $30/hour
- HOURS: Shifts will be 8-hour workdays, 5 days per week (40 hours/week)
- SCHEDULE: Workdays will be Monday-Friday; 7:00am – 5:30 pm
- START DATE: 4/14/2025
- DURATION: 6 months, more work to follow
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pre-Engineered Metal Building Erector to join our team. As a Metal Building Erector, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient assembly and erection of pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMBs) according to blueprints and specifications. Your expertise in structural steel assembly, rigging, and safety protocols is essential for ensuring the success of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building Assembly: Erect structural steel components, including columns, beams, rafters, and purlins, according to blueprints and erection drawings.
- Sheeting & Trim Installation: Install metal wall panels, roof panels, flashing, and trim to complete the building envelope.
- Rigging & Lifting: Safely rig and lift structural steel components using cranes, forklifts, and other lifting equipment.
- Layout & Measurement: Accurately measure and lay out building components to ensure proper alignment and fit.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including fall protection, rigging safety, and OSHA standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate various tools and equipment, including power tools, welding machines, and lifting devices.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other crew members, including crane operators, welders, and laborers.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards and project specifications.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Pre-Engineered Metal Building Erector.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, erection drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in structural steel assembly and rigging techniques.
- Experience with bolt-up and welding procedures.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to operate various tools and equipment.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work at heights.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 80 lbs.
- Must be comfortable with heights.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must have reliable transportation.
