Job Summary

Are you passionate about hospitality and eager to be part of a close-knit team? Superior Stay Hotel, a beloved family-owned hotel nestled in the heart of Marquette MI, is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of hospitality professionals.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Vacuum clean carpets, rugs and clean floors
• Dust and polish furniture and fittings
• Empty and clean trash containers
• Clean washbasins, toilets, mirrors, tubs, and showers
• Wipe down glass surfaces and windows
• Make-up beds and change linens as required
• Sort, wash, load and unload and fold laundry
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
• Monitor and report necessary room repairs and replacements

Qualifications and Skills

• 18 years of age or older.
• Previous Housekeeping experience preferred
• Previous experience in hospitality is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when needed.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required by the hospitality industry.
• Looking for someone to work between 24 and 32 hours.
• Must be available to work on weekends.
