What are the responsibilities and job description for the Area Director | Casual Dining | Emerging Concept position at Superior Talent Source?
The Area Director (NJ/NY) must be able to lead and develop people. You will work closely with the executive team to drive guest traffic and build internal talent pipelines to keep up with company growth. You will serve as a critical driver of all things operational.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Systems: Directly manage General Managers to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Performance Goals: Accountable for achieving desired profitability and key performance indicator levels, driving sales beyond targets, following service priorities, and simultaneously delivering exceptional hospitality and enhancing the guest experience.
- New Restaurant Opening: Execute pre-opening operations, marketing, and staffing initiatives to ensure a successful new restaurant opening.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Demonstrated ability to develop people
- Proven business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated leader with the ability to solve complex problems
- Proven track record of success managing multiple locations
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience managing 4 direct reports across multiple locations
- Hands-on experience developing training programs and assessing skills
