Upscale Steakhouse seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Sales & Events Manager.


The Sales and Events Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by developing and executing business plans to attract new guests and expand private dining events. This role focuses on building strong guest relationships, increasing revenue, and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Success is measured by consistent sales growth and effective execution of marketing and event strategies.


Sales Growth & Business Development

  • Achieve restaurant financial goals, including overall sales growth and private dining sales.
  • Manage and optimize the local marketing budget for a positive return on investment.
  • Develop sales strategies to address business needs, such as hosting in-house or off-site events to attract new clients.
  • Reconnect with past guests and introduce new ones through targeted outreach.
  • Provide weekly sales projections and create action plans to meet targets.
  • Execute outreach initiatives for special events, promotions, and gift card sales.


Private Dining & Event Execution

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts at nearby businesses.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure all event details are accurately recorded and communicated.
  • Oversee flawless execution of private dining events, ensuring guest expectations are exceeded.
  • Be present at events to support hosts and ensure smooth service.
  • Follow up with private dining guests to gather feedback and encourage repeat business.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of up to 10 individuals.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance sales skills.
  • Implement corporate marketing and operational directives in a timely manner.
