What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Trim Operator- 3rd Shift position at Superior Tire & Rubber Corp?
As an CNC Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with specified standards and procedures associated with CNC Machine Tool work cell manufacturing activities including but not limited to safety and health, personnel deployment, work cell scheduling, work cell startup, equipment calibration and operation, documentation and records, material handling, waste disposal, equipment changeover and repair.
- Set up CNC machines to produce product according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products for defects and make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with the press machine
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
Skills:
- Experience operating CNC machines or similar equipment
- Familiarity with programming machines
- Knowledge of lathe, caliper, and other machining tools
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
This position requires physical stamina, as it involves standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
