JOB SUMMARY & DESCRIPTION

Superior Traffic Control, LLC is seeking to fill the entry level position: TRAFFIC CONTROL APPRENTICE . No previous road or bridge construction industry experience required, although experience in the traffic control industry or related industry is a plus. Candidate MUST have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation , and possess the following qualifications:

· Able to lift 80 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks

· Able to load & unload dispatch trucks

· Capable of following specific directions from supervisor with acute attention to detail

· Should exhibit good judgment in the field including safe work practices around live traffic and adhere to the company policy at all times

· Ability to operate motorized hand tools and equipment required

· Able to accurately use rulers and calculate measurements

· Cooperative team player attitude required

· Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens

· Eligibility for inclusion on the company covered driver’s list is required

· Able to work nights or weekends if necessary

· Willingness to improve industry knowledge & learn new skills

· Able to work out of town or state for a duration to complete job assigned to the team.

COMPENSATION OFFERED:

· Pay based on hourly rate. Overtime pay after 40 hours per week

· Eligible health insurance after averaging 30 hours per week for 60 days

· Eligible to participate in employer matching 401K

· Half hour paid break time for any scheduled shift of six hours duration or more

· Vacation time accrual & Holiday Pay

· Flagging and Commercial Defensive Driving training provided

· Assist in obtaining a DOT health card through a Licensed Medical Provider
