Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Material Handler will be responsible for loading and unloading materials utilizing a forklift or overhead crane. Follows all safety and quality policies and guidelines and provides input on ways to improve. Collaborates with production team to anticipate material needs and minimizes the disruptions to production flow by having materials moved in a timely manner. The Material Handler will also be responsible for receiving inspections, cycle counting, routine maintenance checks on the forklift and crane, and maintaining accurate bin to bin transactions.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent degree (GED), 0 to 2 years of experience and / or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
