Southview Acres Healthcare Center is seeking a full-time Maintenance aide to join the team!
The Maintenance Aide is responsible for maintaining the grounds of the facility and perform regular cleaning tasks
Responsibilities Include:
- Carrying out timely preventative maintenance on all equipment
- Informing the maintenance director of any safety concerns
- Use proper care and use of equipment and waste disposal procedures in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
- Working cooperatively with Residents, staff, volunteers, and families to ensure Residents are receiving the best quality care.
- Proper infection control
Qualifications:
- High school graduate or GED required.
- Previous maintenance or construction background preferred.
- General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and construction required.
- Able to follow written and oral directions.
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively and deal tactfully with personnel, Residents, families, and visitors.
