Job Overview We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Strategist with a proven ability to grow and engage audiences across TikTok, Instagram, and / or YouTube. This role will focus on developing a creative, fully produced viral content strategy for a beauty-focused brand, ultimately driving toward social commerce initiatives that lead to seamless and integrated shopping experiences. You will leverage your experience in building and growing channels and content across social platforms to create compelling beauty content that resonates with our audience and drives purchasing behavior. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of media dynamics, trend-driven content, audience engagement, and social commerce, with an eye toward shaping the future of beauty marketing in the digital space. Key Responsibilities : Social Media Strategy Development & Execution : Develop and execute a TikTok-first content strategy focused on beauty and social commerce, aiming to drive viral engagement while integrating shopping experiences. Leverage knowledge of Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok to create cross-platform strategies that build a community, drive engagement, and ultimately guide users toward social commerce opportunities. Viral Content Creation & Community Engagement : Create and manage trend-driven content that encourages interaction and resonates with a beauty-focused audience. Build and nurture an active community through engaging, shareable content, while actively managing brand interactions and user-generated content. Work closely with influencers, creators, and brand partners to create content that is organic, fun, and aligned with both the creator’s voice and the brand's goals. Social Commerce Strategy & Integration : Develop creative ways to integrate social commerce features (e.g., shoppable posts, live selling, product tagging) into content, making the transition from content consumption to purchase seamless and enjoyable. Guide the development of shoppable content strategies, using platform tools (e.g., TikTok's shopping features, Amazon live, YouTube's live shopping) to drive purchases directly from social media. Help craft strategies that merge content with shopping experiences, focusing on building out sustainable and authentic social commerce pathways for beauty products. Content Calendar & Campaign Management : Develop and maintain an editorial calendar with a blend of organic content, influencer collaborations, product launches, and social commerce-driven content. Execute and optimize seasonal campaigns and beauty product launches, ensuring that they align with overall brand messaging while leveraging social commerce tools. Oversee the creation and scheduling of content series on YouTube and Instagram that tie into broader brand campaigns and drive consistent audience engagement. Analytics & Performance Reporting : Use analytics tools across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube to measure content performance, track audience behavior, and optimize strategies for social commerce outcomes. Regularly review and report on KPIs such as engagement rates, follower growth, product interactions, and conversions to sales through social commerce features. Analyze campaign results and adjust strategies based on performance data, experimenting with new formats or tactics to improve conversion rates. Qualifications : Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media strategy and channel growth across TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, particularly in the beauty, lifestyle, or fashion space. Proven ability to grow and engage social media channels using creative content strategies that balance entertainment, engagement, and social commerce. Experience with building YouTube channels and Instagram profiles, particularly with a focus on creating content series that attract and retain audiences, driving both engagement and long-term growth. Familiarity with building content strategies that enhance user engagement, subscriptions, and retention over time. Experience in developing video series or long-form content on YouTube and Instagram, focusing on creating cohesive and engaging narratives that drive viewership and subscription growth. Experience in balancing brand identity and creator authenticity, ensuring that social commerce initiatives feel natural and engaging, not forced or overly commercial. Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., TikTok Insights, Instagram Insights, YouTube Analytics) to monitor and measure content performance, audience growth, and social commerce results. Data-driven mindset, with the ability to optimize content strategies based on performance metrics such as engagement rates, conversion rates, and audience behavior.
