Position Overview
The Director of Finance at SupplierGateway is responsible for supporting the financial strategy and operations of the SaaS division. This role includes assisting with financial planning, budgeting, and compliance with revenue recognition standards. The Director will monitor key metrics like Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) to identify growth opportunities and collaborate with various departments. Additionally, the Director will manage accounting, cash flow, analyze risk, and provide financial insights to the executive team to ensure effective governance and drive sustainable growth.
Position Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Analyze financial data and market trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports to the executive team and board.
- Conduct variance analysis to assess performance against budgets.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Manage capital structure and financing to support growth objectives.
- Evaluate investment opportunities and perform ROI analysis.
- Optimize working capital and cash flow forecasting.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with department heads to improve operational performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track efficiency.
- Support strategic planning in collaboration with the CEO and executive team.
- Communicate financial performance and strategic updates to stakeholders.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is required.
- 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
- Leadership experience within finance, such as a finance manager or controller, required.
- Experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably within the SaaS or technology industry, including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, cash flow management, and strategic financial decision-making.
