Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for daily operations of Kegspediter services including collection, return, and export of empty kegs
- Network planning and optimization
- Proactive resolution to risks or issues with service
- Ensure achievement of critical KPIs essential for healthy operations, e.g., Transport Cost per Keg, On-Time Performance, Load Cube, Warehouse Inventory Levels, etc.
- Responsible for accurate and timely close activities
- Build relationship of trust and respect within the team by listening to their concerns and understanding their needs
- Build skills and confidence within the team through effective delegation and stretch assignments
- Motivate the team to successful accomplishment of goals through celebrated wins, empowerment, accountability, and positive reinforcements
- Build relationship with customer to understand their needs and develop solutions
- Build relationships with suppliers/vendors to build and enhance operations
- Creates new processes and procedures for operations based on new services enabled
- Manage customer service-related issues including inquiries for information
- Certain solutions may require analyzing complex issues, understanding the end goal, and developing a project plan to meet that goal
- Candidate will work across a matrix organization to get project results in a collaborative and efficient manner
- Ensure Hillebrand employees, vendors and clients are compliant with world-class transportation and warehousing safety and compliance standards
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant experience
- Required: 5 years in supply chain management industry (warehousing, logistics, transportation, shipping)
- Desirable: Warehouse/fulfillment/transportation experience
- Ability to persuade and lead. Ability to recognize and cultivate talent, and develop high-potential employees into high-performing employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 25%
- Physical ability to: communicate clearly and accurately; frequently move items weighing up to 75 pounds; operate a computer and other office equipment.
