ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE:
Mission of the Role: The Account Management Representative is pivotal in driving sales by upselling and cross-selling to existing customers and contributing to organic growth through their own territory and supporting the outside sales team. This is accomplished by pre-qualifying inbound sales leads and marketing prospects and managing a current book of business. After 18 months of success in this role, the candidate would transition to an outside Sales Representative.
Key Duties & Accountabilities/Essential Functions:
- Understands SupplyOne's product offerings, main competitors, and position in the markets we serve.
- Conducts initial outreach to sales and marketing sourced leads via phone, email and social media by end of day of receipt.
- Outbound communication to prospective and existing customers
- Utilizes our lead qualification framework to assess prospect potential and Sales-Qualify leads within 24 hours.
- Maintains accurate and detailed records of all interactions in SalesPro.
- Processes and confirms purchase orders submitted by their customers while proactively upselling to maximize customer value and enhance customer relationships.
- Provides exceptional customer service, addressing customer questions and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Handles inbound calls and addresses any customer problems or concerns.
- Stays informed about industry trends and competitive offerings.
- Meets or exceed performance metrics.
- Commits to regular product knowledge development.
- Provides regular updates to marketing and field regarding trends and potential changes to target profiles.
