Position Summary
The primary responsibility of the Staff Accountant is to maintain the integrity of the General Ledger detail, assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules according to month-end close deadlines.
Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
One To Two Years’ Experience Is Preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.

Responsibilities
- Accurately and promptly record all financial transactions
- Prepare and record journal entries including proper support for accurate recognition in the General Ledger
- Perform general account analysis and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, including, but not limited to, bank reconciliations, fixed assets, leases, AR, AP, prepaid expenses, and intercompany
- Assist in preparing consolidated financial statements by gathering and analyzing general ledger data
- Manage cash receipts, recording related revenue and receivable transactions
- Prepare supporting schedules as needed
- Research and interpret data to answer financial and accounting questions, collaborating across departments
- Provide documentation and support during financial audits
- Help develop and implement accounting policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to internal controls and best practices
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records, ensuring easy access for audits and reviews
- Provide excellent customer service to all stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
