GENERAL FUNCTION:
The position involves providing overall support to the Nursing team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Help with reviewing psychotropic medication consents against MAR’s each week to make sure they continue to match. Flag discrepancies, create new consent form for the Home Manager to get signed and put supported person’s name on HRC list.

Create packets of information for Med Consent Review meeting.

Collaborate with program managers around any recommended trainings that come out of COS meetings.

Receive medications from pharmacy. Check them in and ensure their security in the designated location within the department. Contact Home Managers to pick up medications.

Input and track medication variances and submit report to Director of Quality by 10th of the following month.

Maintain stericycle preparation and pick up.

Complete all filing.

Other duties as assigned.

Upload Consults to Therap

Schedule follow-up appointment and distributes all appointment information.

Practices safe work habits to eliminate and control potential safety and health hazards and to maintain a safe work environment. Attends all safety training as scheduled.

Work as part of the team to ensure that SSTN Quality Management principles (Plan, Measure, Assess. Improve) are practiced and achieved.

Operates SSTN and personal transportation in a safe and healthy manner.

Performs other job related duties as may be assigned by designated and/or authorized staff.

Qualifications
MINIIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 21 years of age and able to read and write effectively. Experience working in the medical field. Good to excellent communication skills; both written and verbal. Good to excellent typing skills. Good practical knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products. Must be current on First Aid, CPR and medication administration certification.

Valid CPR/First Aid certification
