Our clinicians work in home and community settings, delivering personalized care under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Services.
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team. In this role, you'll assess clients' psychosocial needs, provide therapy, and conduct AFLS and RBANS testing. You'll play a vital role in supporting clients as they navigate recovery and develop skills for greater independence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop customized care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy tailored to the unique challenges of neurodivergent clients.
- Administer and interpret AFLS and RBANS testing.
- Support clients in accessing healthcare resources and advocating for their needs.
- Maintain accurate client records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, care managers, and families.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Qualifications
- Current LCSW or LPC licensure through the CT Department of Public Health.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals, with a focus on adults preferred.
- Expertise in brain injury, stroke recovery, and autism spectrum disorder treatments.
- Proven experience with AFLS and RBANS testing.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
