A Behavior Technician is a paraprofessional who works directly with individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or other behavioral challenges to implement personalized behavior plans. Their primary role is to:
- Implement one-on-one interventions and strategies to increase desired behaviors and skills
- Collect data on behavior and progress
- Assist with daily living skills and activities
- Provide support and guidance to individuals and their families
- Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other professionals to ensure consistency and progress
