Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients in a variety of settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and share insights regarding client progress.
- Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health and applied behavior analysis.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation.
- Experience working with children, particularly those diagnosed with autism or other developmental disorders.
- Knowledge of patient care practices and behavioral health principles.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes related to behavioral assessments.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also demonstrating independence in decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
