We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Staten Island. In this role, you will conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct support to clients across various settings. As a BCBA, you will collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible care and support for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess behavioral needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based interventions using applied behavior analysis principles.
- Monitor client progress and make adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on effective behavior management techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and provide insights on client progress.
- Stay informed on the latest developments in the field of behavioral health and applied behavior analysis.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation.
- Experience working with children, particularly those diagnosed with autism or other developmental disorders.
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and principles of patient care.
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and behavioral assessments.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also demonstrating independence in decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Compensation
- Salary: $90 - $105 per hour (based on experience)
