Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. Your expertise in applied behavior analysis will be essential in assessing patient needs, designing effective treatment strategies, and providing ongoing support to clients and their families.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral issues and develop tailored intervention plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to promote positive behavior changes.
- Utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to guide treatment strategies.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations to determine the appropriate course of action for each client.
- Collect and analyze data on client progress to ensure the effectiveness of interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and medical professionals, to provide holistic care.
- Provide training and support to caregivers and staff on behavioral management techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Experience
- A minimum of a master's degree in behavior analysis or a related field is required.
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is mandatory.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health issues is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of diagnostic evaluations is beneficial.
- Strong skills in data collection and analysis to track client progress effectively.
- A background in working with people with disabilities is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for collaborating with clients, families, and team members.
