The Role : Team Lead, SSVF, Richmond / Charlottesville / Petersburg
What You'll Do : Reporting directly to the Program Manager, you'll lead the regional collaborative supportive services team within our Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program serving Richmond, Charlottesville, and Petersburg residents.
- Provide leadership and daily oversight to the team to ensure successful implementation of day-to-day program operations by providing guidance on program eligibility requirements, service delivery and documentation, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, appropriately managing caseloads, and coordinating on-call scheduling
- Lead, mentor, and supervise assigned teammates, volunteers, and interns
- Conduct individual supervision sessions with direct reports in addition to regular team meetings, communicate and document expectations
- Conduct hiring process and coordinate onboarding activities for direct reports following program and agency policies and timelines
- Establish and monitor caseloads and work activities to ensure service delivery, contractual outcomes, and program goals are met
- Conduct case conferencing reviews to monitor program participant needs assessment and eligibility confirmation processes, monitor progress, and fine-tune intervention strategies and techniques
- Conduct and document chart audits of every record at intake, quarterly recertification, and exit to ensure program compliance
- Review and verify all supporting documentation and signatures prior to approving and processing any request for funds
- Conduct and document quarterly ride-alongs with each teammate to provide observational feedback on service delivery
- Identify, build, and maintain community relationships with landlords and services organizations that work with the target population
- Ensure that Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) data is completed and collected for all participants entering, recertifying, and exiting the program
- Coordinate and provide on-call coverage for crises and after-hours service needs
