Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of quality management systems, precision measuring instruments, and relevant ISO standards. The Quality Assurance Inspector will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our production processes and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines to perform accurate measurements.
- Analyze inspection data and prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 13485 standards and HACCP principles throughout the manufacturing process.
- Participate in research data collection for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality assurance activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and standards, particularly ISO 13485.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Experience with data analysis techniques to interpret inspection results effectively.
- Knowledge of HACCP principles is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
