Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a key role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Your primary responsibility will be to create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood development.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Create a safe and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through various activities
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as needed
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Experience working with children in a daycare or classroom setting
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate various subjects, such as math, science, language arts, and physical education
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with young children
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
- 45 Hours of DCF Training (Required)
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
