Overview
Responsible for procuring all commercial foodservice equipment for our contract jobs which include negotiation with our factories and / or factory representatives for extra discounts, freight cost, delivery dates, etc. This position requires a strict attention to detail as equipment must be ordered per specification with regards to size, voltage, phase, electrical, gas, etc. All orders are created within auto quotes and our accounting system
Responsibilities
- Procure materials and supplies in accordance with company needs and specifications.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best prices and terms.
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
- Develop strong relationships with vendors and factory representatives to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.
Skills
- Proficiency in procurement processes and contract negotiations
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
- Ability to analyze data effectively to inform purchasing decisions.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, plumbing & electrical
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
