Job Responsibilities:

Greet customers warmly
- Address the customer by name
- Welcome customers as they walk into the establishment
- Maintain the work location
- Maintain a clean counter
- Maintain a clean floor
- Ensure the restrooms are clean
- Ensure the store windows are clean
- Understand the dry-cleaning process and the services that are provided by the company
- Be able to answer questions about possible stains
- Be able to answer questions about the material of the garment
- Be able to make recommendations on the cleaning of a garment
- Understand the laundry process and the services provided by the company
- Understand the laundry care symbol chart
- Understand the procedure of accepting the customer’s garments
- Inspect the garments
- Buttons are intact
- Check for open seams or any possible repairs that may be needed
- All zippers work properly
- All pockets are checked and emptied out
- Make sure all linings have been patted to ensure that nothing has fallen to the bottom
- Use the proper tagging system and ensure to have the customer’s contact information
- Respond and assist promptly to customer inquiries or complaints
- Responsible for cash drawer and daily deposit for his/her shift
