Position Title: District Manager
Reports To: Vice President of Operations
Supervises: Account Managers, and Supervisors as required
Basic Functions: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities and operations of the District as to meet customer retention, growth, and profitability goals.
Major Responsibilities
1. Develop and recommend operational goals and objectives.
2. Work with Sales Department to identify potential target accounts and sales leads.
3. Assist Sales Department in sales walk through, work loading, and sales presentations as needed.
4. Increase sales of special services to current customers.
5. Work with Managers to develop and maintain job budgets.
6. Ensure that all jobs meet or exceed profit objectives.
7. Work with Managers to schedule and ensure the completion for all contracted work.
8. Work with Managers to assist in scheduling and completion of all Special Services work.
9. Work with Managers to ensure the completion of all assigned work orders in a timely manner.
10. Ensure the availability of labor, equipment, supplies, and materials are in sufficient quantities, and at an economical cost.
11. Ensure that all work performed is in accordance with company standards and meets or exceeds customer’s expectations.
12. Continually evaluate procedures, methods, and equipment for purposes of improving performance, efficiency and reducing cost.
13. Assist in the creation, development and administration of quality control processes and inspections.
14. Work with Maintenance to ensure that all operational equipment and vehicles are well maintained.
15. Review Daily Time Keeping Reports and ensure that all corrections are made daily.
16. Review Payroll Time Keeping Reports to ensure accuracy prior to deadline.
17. Maintain a continuing program of evaluating and training personnel to ensure both a high level of performance and the availability of promotable personnel.
18. Develop and train Managers and subordinates, appraise their performance, and make recommendations concerning salary, promotion, transfer, or termination.
19. Work with HR Department in recruiting and screening of applicants, and make hiring recommendations to ensure proper staffing.
20. Develop and maintain customer relationships and contact.
21. Report status of customer relations and overall satisfaction.
22. Perform such other duties as required by VP of Operations.
