Director Human Resources

Supreme Rice is looking for a Director of Human Resources. This position leads the Human Resource team, manages the benefits program, directs and coordinates policies, procedures and goals of the company, ensuring compliance and implementation of the organization's mission and talent strategy.

Main Duties:

• Manage Self-funded health insurance program; oversee employee benefits administration
• Deliver management training programs

• Develop/update company policies, pay structures, employee handbook
• Manage Performance review process
• Manage employee relations and communication between the company and employees
• Manage Worker’s Comp claims with Compliance and Safety teams
• Analyze data/ report on HR metrics
• Other duties may be added as position evolves with a growing company

Qualifications:

• Experience with Self-funded health insurance programs preferred
• Excellent and clear verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership, managerial, problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• Project and time management skills
• Proven expertise solving problems
• Good presentation skills/ able to speak to a group comfortably
• Solid knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
• Proficient with Microsoft office
• Spanish-speaking preferred
  

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least eight years of human resource management experience required.
