Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Inbound Team Lead to oversee and manage daily operations within our warehouse's inbound department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient unloading, receiving, and storage of goods while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of warehouse associates in inbound operations.
- Oversee the unloading of trucks, verifying incoming shipments, and inspecting products for accuracy and quality.
- Manage the accurate recording of inventory using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Coordinate with warehouse management to prioritize daily workload and assign tasks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor performance metrics and provide feedback and coaching to team members.
- Collaborate with other departments, including inventory control and outbound operations, to ensure seamless warehouse operations.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any inbound-related issues efficiently.
