What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Verifier position at Supreme Staffing?
Position Scope:
- Inspect and verify all outgoing orders to ensure they match the packing list and customer specifications.
- Confirm product quantities, item descriptions, and conditions before shipping.
- Work closely with pickers to correct any discrepancies in orders.
- Ensure all furniture and other products are properly packaged and secured to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of verified orders.
- Report any damaged or missing items to the warehouse supervisor.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Assist other departments/areas as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills for order tracking and reporting.
- Physical ability to stand, lift, and move furniture and other heavy items as needed.
