What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping and Receiving clerk position at Supreme Staffing?
Job Details/Description: Shiiping and Receiving Clerk Located in Danville VA.
1. Match the freight that was unloaded with purchase order and that checker completes.
2. Check case pack and inner pack of one case of each sku (if item is new make sure you check JDA)
3. Make sure styles and descriptions match merchandise if not check UPC
4. Determine if merchandise is conveyable or non-conveyable.
5. Make sure merchandise will fit in the rack and location properly.
6. If break pack (new item) is it pre-distributed or order book, if pre-distributed make master strategy 500, if order book call break pack contact for assistance.
7. Make sure pallet is stacked correctly and safely before placing pallet license on pallet.
8. Check in merchandise using RF unit using proper # of cases and correct case pack.
9. Make sure you check inbound order in catalyst to make certain you receive the same quantity that was written up on the worksheet.
10. Make sure you re-tape all boxes, and take damaged merchandise off pallet and send to proper area.
11. Do not receive damaged merchandise.
12. Sign for proper amount of merchandise.
13. Sign receiving document properly and neatly.
14. Make sure pallets are configured correctly
15. Notify manager or supervisor of overages and shortages.
Monday – Friday (Over time as needed)
7am – 4:30pm
