This role ensures compliance with industry standards, company policies, and project-specific requirements. The Quality Coordinator works closely with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to maintain the highest quality standards in steel fabrication and construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) programs.
- Monitor and inspect materials, processes, and final products to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct audits, inspections, and testing of fabricated steel and construction activities.
- Document and report quality issues, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Assist in training and educating employees on quality control procedures and best practices.
- Maintain records, logs, and reports related to quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with project teams, vendors, and clients to address quality-related concerns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency in production and construction processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to quality procedures.
