This position provides leadership and direction to technicians to ensure that an excellent standard of quality is provided and maintained. Performs and/or oversees repair and rework operations for the organization. This position is also responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience. Full-time Position Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. (Fridays required occasionally)

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and develop Production team.
- Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Supervise production personnel and processes.
- Provide support and mentorship to team members ensuring personal and professional growth for each.
- Create monthly unit plans and be accountable to their weekly progress.
- Manage and forecast capacity needs based on sales backlog.
- Assign jobs to technicians or assembly teams based on sales priorities and job readiness.
- Plan and execute assembly line builds using work instructions and work cell alignment.
- Drive improvements in labor utilization and efficiency and meet or exceed monthly KPI’s for each.
- Utilize production and scheduling tools to visualize, communicate, and organize production flow.
- Monitor, record, and make improvements based on defects per unit data.
- Drive quality improvements in production based on quality control feedback and results.
- Use change orders or corrective action requests to improve upfit processes or meet customer demands.
- Directly supervise Quality Control personnel and processes.
- Participate in cascading cross-functional leadership meetings with strong accountability to Production responsibilities to internal customers and external customers.
- Propose modifications to production processes and/or materials used by listening to Voice of Employee feedback.
- Collaborate with other functional groups to address customer requests and align customer expectations.
- Participate in pre/post-build meetings to ensure alignment on customer specifications.
Manages production department team members, including production processes, reports and repairs. Provides the highest level of customer service with a sales-minded attitude while developing lasting customer relationships.
Qualifications
Certification Training Offered by Employer if not already obtained
- NTEA 101, NTEA 201 Required *Complete in Year 1 if not already Certified
- ASE E1 Required *Complete in Year 1 if not already Certified
- Forklift Certification Required
- English Language (read/write fluently)
- Must have 2 years experience managing direct labor employees who work on multiple projects independently.
- Must have previous experience planning production and capacity needs in a manufacturing setting.
- Must possess moderate skillset using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to communicate effectively, efficiently, and concisely using each one.
Physical Demands:
- Have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment that may require heavy physical duties.
- Work will involve frequent standing, bending, twisting, stooping, and kneeling.
