We seek an experienced Incident Commander Supervisor with high integrity and professionalism who can join our team here in the Bay Area. You will be working on uniquely assigned projects under the guidance of the Area Manager. In your day to day role as an Incident Commander Supervisor, you will be acting as a liaison between Surefox and its Clients while providing professional security guarding services with the goal of protecting Client personnel and property as well as deterrence and emergency response. You will perform all duties in accordance with Surefox and Client policies and procedures, and all state & federal regulations.Other responsibilities include responding to emergency events, medical & non-medical issues, staffing deficiencies, and handling Client requests in a timely manner. Under certain circumstances, an Incident Commander Supervisor will be expected to initiate preliminary investigations by writing incident reports on all internal Client and company issues. We are looking for someone who has exceptional observational skills and pays close attention to detail as well as being highly dependable. The compensation rate for this position is: $35.00 per hour
We are seeking Security Professional for(1) Swings: (1400 - 2230) (Thurs-Mon)
What You Will Do
Lead and Manage Team
Conduct briefings and debriefings for security officers
Coordinate with other supervisors to ensure consistent information flow between supervisors & the security team
Disseminate any information pertinent to either Surefox or Client operations
Oversee scheduling, performance management, and policy compliance for security officers
Manage timekeeping and leave requests utilizing the company Timekeeping systems
Ensure team members have access to, understand, and are properly utilizing their Timekeeping systems
Ensure officers have access to necessary resources (equipment, post orders, SOPs) to perform duties
Conduct daily inspections of security equipment and ensure the correct equipment is signed in & out by the security officers
Coordinate deployment changes to optimize security coverage when short of personnel
Document & escalate any security posture changes as directed
Ensure security team is in compliance with required Client or Surefox internal policies
Be familiar with and enforce all required rest & meal breaks in accordance with California labor laws
Address cross-departmental employee concerns and escalate as needed (payroll, scheduling, leave, harassment/bullying, uniform discrepancies, etc)
Training & Development
Assist with training for any new hires & OJT (On-the-Job-Training)
Conduct routine post checks and on-site security training
Foster employee professional development through the Surefox Counseling Program
General Security & Operations
Conduct patrols, monitor access, deter unauthorized entry, and enforce security measures
Collaborate with the Security Operations Center (SOC)
Respond to emergencies and secure scenes
Investigate incidents and report suspicious activity
Verify identification and control access
Document security events and activities
Perform light front desk duties and provide a welcoming environment
Build rapport and collaborate with various teams and stakeholders
Proactively de-escalate situations and address concerns professionally
Work independently and adapt to varying work paces
What is Required
Must be eligible for employment within the United States
Must be a minimum of 18 years old per state licensing guidelines
Must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screening (Surefox will consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with all requirements of State and local laws, regulations or codes)
Must live within driving distance or be willing to relocate
Must have a current BSIS guard card or be eligible to qualify for a guard card
Must have a high school degree or equivalent
Must have a current CPR & First Aid certification or be eligible to qualify for a certification
Demonstrated competence in reacting to and handling emergencies
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Ability to work independently and as a team member
Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
Ability to climb stairs and ladders
What is Preferred
Military background strongly preferred
Security or law enforcement experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office & G-Suite Applications
Report writing experience
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
