Dental Lab Technician (Denture Setup)
Athens, TN
A leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry is looking for an experienced Dental Lab Technician to join their team in Athens, TN.
The regular hours for this position are from 7 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position :
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
- Check models for defect that need correcting before fabrication begins
- Check articulation of models for proper occlusal relationship
- Post dam upper models
- Set pin on articulator to establish vertical relationship
- Double check teeth to be used for correct mold and shade
- Place wax on baseplate and set teeth on the arch in proper alignment to achieve proper function and good aesthetics. If setting for wax try-in, soak model in water before set-up. Check occlusion to be sure correct bite relationship has been achieved.
- All other duties as assigned.
