SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced Saw Operator for a large manufacturing client located in Coppell,TX. This position will manufacture parts per blueprint, or process instruction, ensuring all specifications are met.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation $20.00 as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).
Available shifts : Monday-Friday 6am-3pm
Responsibilities of the Machine Operator :
- Prepare machine for production by positioning and securing dies, stops, guides, and turntables.
- Safely and effectively operates thermoforming equipment to produce quality product
- Reads job specifications and previous run data (if available) to determine machine adjustments and material requirements. Ensures job is in order prior to machine set-up.
- work on saws that both can be programed to cut many parts as well as have a manual saw which is similar to a table saw.
- We are in the business of cutting plastic sheets (1 / 6” thick to 1” thick).
- Entail certified forklift driving to pick up material on pallet from designated rack position( 4’x8’ larger pallets) bringing back to saw, cut to sizes indicated by work orders provided by scheduler throughout the day.
- Confirming and moving product to next step for processing.
- Observes machine operation to detect piece defects or machine malfunction. Makes corrections to alleviate out of specification product.
- Position will entail standing for long periods of the day and lifting up to 50 pounds during shift.
