SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Material Handlers for a large, well-known client in Lititz,PA The Material Handler position supports operations, maintains production flow, provides accurate production ticketing and paperwork while keeping work area organized and clean.
SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation of $18.50 per hour as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Available shifts include Night Shift 7 pm- 7 am Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Duties and Responsibilities of Material Handler :
- Works safely, notifying leads and or management of safety issues or concerns.
- Visually inspects bottles for defects and notifies team management of nonconforming product.
- Pack finished goods onto pallets or drive forklift (certified through Logoplaste).
- Maintains appropriate levels of prepared Dunnage for production packaging.
- Ensures product is properly labelled and recorded
- Monitors production as totes or pallets fill, removing, closing, ticketing and placing in warehouse
- Supports crew where needed.
- Keeps production area organized and clean
- May load raw material (resin, preforms, etc.)
- Pulls stock, fills out shipping manifest and loads trailers for deliveries.
- Disposes of scrap and recycling – may utilize bailers or grinders
- May perform rework / sorting duties.
