Hotel Breakfast Attendant

Job Summary
The Breakfast Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests during breakfast hours. This position involves preparing and serving breakfast items, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the breakfast area with food items, beverages, and utensils according to hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, including bussing tables and cleaning up spills promptly.
• Communicate with guests to ensure their needs are met, addressing any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other food preparation tools.
• Assist in restocking food items as needed throughout the breakfast service.
• Handle POS transactions efficiently while providing excellent phone etiquette when taking reservations or inquiries.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with kitchen operations, including basic cooking techniques and food safety practices.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.24 - $15.82 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week
