Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Surety Bond Processing Team Manager to lead our bond processing team. This role ensures operational excellence by managing workflows, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and driving continuous improvement to support our clients and sales team effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership, Management, & Accountability:
- Oversee a team of Surety Bond Processors, ensuring clear role assignments and accountability.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance against established metrics and goals.
- Process Optimization:
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements to enhance processing speed and accuracy.
- Quality Assurance:
- Enforce compliance with company policies and industry standards to maintain high-quality outcomes.
- Training and Development:
- Develop and deliver training programs to keep the team updated on industry trends and practices.
- Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Resolve escalated client issues and collaborate with sales teams on complex processing cases.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare daily and periodic reports on production rates, error rates, and operational performance.
- Analyze trends and recommend actionable improvements to senior management.
- Workforce Planning:
- Support workforce planning, including hiring, scheduling, and balancing workloads.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in bonding, insurance processing, mortgage processing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role managing 8–10 employees.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with Massachusetts employment law is required.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to handle complex team and client interactions.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to optimize workflows and interpret data.
