About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Extrusion Tool Designer to contribute to the development of complex profile extrusion tools and processes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with Co-Ex/Tri-Ex complex profile extrusion tools, including vacuum sizing and in-line cutting techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Tool Design: Develop plastic profile extrusion tools using SolidWorks, with a focus on meeting customer specifications and delivering high-quality products.
- Process Engineering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop efficient manufacturing processes.
- Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in plastic materials, particularly PP/PPTD40, TPOs, TPVs, TPEs, extruded low-friction coatings, metal carrier/wire/string supported extrusions.
